The last Post!!!... I think

Well, we are finishing this subject. I started English in level three and now I’m in level four. It is really tiring attending a class from 2 to 6 pm on Friday so sometimes I’m too tired and it is difficult to pay attention in class, even when I tried. This semester I’m taking 8 subjects, so attending a class on Friday evening is too tiring. I think that speaking English is very important so I try to pay attention and learn things that I don’t know but some weeks it was really difficult. About using the blog, I think that the use is an important thing too because we use some skills that we don’t used to use, like writing in English or try to express the things that we want to say in other language.

I think that when I finish this subject I’ll continue using English because we have to read papers to some classes and study them so I’ll try to improve my English reading things, or listening to some movies or series or music in this language. I´ll try to increase my vocabulary because I need to improve it.

Well I used to use English a lot because I listen to music in English and in the nigh I watch series in this language, I always try to understand what I’m listening when I listen to music and In the night when I watch my series I used to do other things; I can’t read the subtitles so I try to understand what the characters are saying.

I can say that I like this subject but sometimes, like I say, it is difficult to pay attention.

I really like to use this blog because some themes were so cool.

I hope I pass this subject so I suppose that this is the last post. I hope you enjoy my post, we are finishing the year too so I wish you a good end of year and you have a nice holydays.

What can we do.

Well, this weak we have to talk about money and I don’t know what can I write about it but I’ll try to do it.

Well, now in World the money is too valuated, I think that it is wrong, people just think about money and some people think that money can buy everything and it is not true!, we need money to buy thing like food or clothes but we can’t buy friends, health or life. Money is necessarily but it is not the only thing in life.

I can say that this year I learn to use my money because I have to save to have a good month if I just spend my money in unnecessarily stuff I will not have money to the bus or thing that I really need. Sometimes I spend my money in clothes and more than anything water because I don’t like Santiago’s water. I need to manage my budget the best that I can because I live with it and if I don’t I’ll not survive the month.

If I were a millionaire I would spend my money helping my family, maybe I would buy a house and a lot of clothes!!

Finally, if I had to pawn some of my belongings maybe it would be my perfumes because I have a lot of it and I don’t really use all of it. I just use one or maybe two and I have… maybe 10 or 15. Some of they are new.

Environment

This weak we have to talk about environment. Well, we all know that people should care for the environment, but they don’t do it all the time. It is hard to know when I learn how to care for it but I just know that it is our responsibility to care for the environment. When I was a child my dad and mom bought some ecological bulbs, and they always said to me that I had to turned down the lights when I was not using them or that I had to throw the garbage in dumps, not in the street. Later, I started to get interested in recycling so I collected plastic or cardboard and I sold it but now I don’t have time to do it, so I care about not to use some things that can produce waste or throw the garbage in ecological dumps or don't use to much water. 

I lived in a small town so I just walked to visit my friends or go to school, but now in Santiago I have to use transantiago to move from one place to another I don’t have a car so I don’t use one and when I can walk I just do it, because I like to walk too. I don’t understand why people in Santiago just use their cars to move themselves. 

When I was a child I was in boys scouts and there we do some things to care for the environment. I know that organizations like Greenpeace are very important to save and care for the environment so I agree with their actions. If I could I would participate in these organizations but I do not have time to do it now so I will do it when I have time. 

I always care about what I can do not to contaminate the environment; I try to use environmentally friendly products that don’t produce damage in it because I want that my children or my nephews enjoy the place where I live like I know it. I walk when I can and when I have a house (If I have one someday) it will be full of trees. 

I think that the society have to realize that the environment is very important, we can’t live in a place like the dessert, we have to care about environment. In Santiago the people just use their cars to move themselves but they have to learn that it is not the only way to move around. The people have to plant trees in their backyards or recycle the things that can be recycled.

Vote or not vote ?

Hi! This time we have to talk about our opinions about different themes so I can start saying that I registered myself in electoral service in September after my 18th birthday, in 2011 in Parral. I think that voting is so important because we can take a decision that can change things and I think that vote is a responsibility that we have to comply. Although this year all people since 17 years old is automatically registered on electoral services. The sad thing is that I have to travel to vote where I should vote so maybe I will not vote this year.

Well about electoral campaigns I think that sometimes this are too exaggerated because the money that the politicians spend in campaigns could be spent in other important things like in people that really need money or animals or whatever. The truth is that I think that the people should vote for people that deserves it, they should not vote for politicians that stuck more posters in the street. 

I think that a person who runs for a public position should be an honest person that really wants to help people and make their life a better life, no people that are just interested in themselves.

Well, sometimes I think and make the conclusion that the life of politicians is too easy because some of them just attend to reunions, once in a month or two in a month and earn more than a humble person that works all day, even some of them help people. Sometimes I consider to be a politician but in Chile they are too discredited so I don’t like to be like them. 

Well, if I have to give a piece of advice to politicians, maybe I will say to them that they should consider the necessities of people that really need attention, like poor people, by example. The campaigns to win votes of people should not be based on lies, they should want to help people, not just win votes to earn money or credit. They should try to change the life of people with good things.

Just smile.

Well, this weak we have to talk about a piece of news in relation to our career so I selected an interesting piece of news and it is about the price of a smile, the title of it is “Research reveals true worth of a smile”. It was published in may, 2011.

Well, we always talk about the price of a smile, we say that nothing can pay a smile but a little time ago some guys try to calculate the price of a smile. Danielle Shore, who led the research with her colleague at Bangor's school of psychology, Erin Heerey make the conclusion that a smile worth one third of a penny. It is so funny but the truth is that the investigation suggests that you can do anything you want with your smile. Yeah! It is so interesting but it suggests that if you start flashing fake smile its power stops. 

The people who study the price of a smile conclude that the people can pay for a real smile and it depends on the person those smiles.  But more than a price of a smile, when you smile it means a lot or it can help you. One of them said “When meeting people for the first time, your impression of them may depend on how they smile”. 

So now you know: if you want to earn money you can sell your smile… No! hahaha but smile is so important so you can start to smile now.
